Chakras are the 7 energy points located in the body. The word chakra comes from the language Sankrit and translates to "wheel" or "disk". Chakras align with vital functions within your body, such as your major organs, nerve bundles and emotional and physical points of your body. Chakras need to remain open to allow your body to remain in balance. Closed Chakras can create negative physical and emotional effects to the surrounding area of the Chakra.
